My entrepreneurial journey began with a clear goal: to bridge the gap between financial services and the people who need them most. Through Oleevia Grameen Credits, our RBI-licensed NBFC, we have worked tirelessly to provide sustainable financial solutions to underserved communities.

But entrepreneurship is rarely a straight line. It’s a series of pivots, learnings, and a relentless commitment to a larger vision. Today, the Oleevia Group has expanded into a diverse ecosystem—from marketing consultancy and agro-farming cooperatives to our social arm, the Oleevia Foundation.

Core Lessons for the Modern Entrepreneur

Reflecting on the MoneyControl feature, three core principles have guided my path this year:

1. Innovation with Integrity: In the fast-paced world of fintech and credit, innovation is essential. However, it must be rooted in ethical practices that protect and empower the consumer.
2. Social Responsibility as a Strategy: Business excellence and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive. Through the Oleevia Foundation, we focus on educational counseling and career opportunities, proving that a company’s “soul” can be its greatest competitive advantage.
3. The “Dream Bank” Vision: Our roadmap for the next two years involves transforming Oleevia Grameen Credits into a scheduled bank—Oleevia Dream Bank. This ambition drives us to scale operations across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and beyond.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Being named among the top entrepreneurs of 2024 is a motivation to push boundaries further. As we expand into new territories like Delhi and Kolkata, my focus remains on fostering a new generation of self-reliant entrepreneurs, particularly among women and the youth.
