Empowering Agriculture: Phase Two of ‘Sanjeevini’ Project Launched in Naduppathy

At Olivia Foundation, our commitment to sustainable community development continues to grow. We are proud to announce the launch of the second phase of the ‘Sanjeevini’ Agricultural Project in the border village of Naduppathy, Palakkad. This initiative, held under the leadership of the Olivia Foundation, aims to uplift Scheduled Tribe communities through organized agricultural practices.

The second phase follows the successful implementation of the first phase, which began in September in collaboration with the Puthussery Panchayat.

Key Highlights of the Launch:

  • Inauguration: The second phase was officially inaugurated by K.T. Krishnakumar, CMD of the Olivia Group of Companies.
  • Fruit Cultivation: As part of this phase, various types of fruit trees are being planted on the land of several individuals in the region.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: The event was presided over by Puthussery Panchayat member V. Geetha. Other key attendees included:
    • Olivia Group CEO Ajithkumar Varma.
    • Secretary Raji, Treasurer Bindu, and Executive Director Sherly.
    • Advisor Ramakrishnan and Chief Project Manager Goutham Ramakrishnan.
    • Project Co-ordinator Sreeja.
  • Community Engagement: Local tribal leaders (Ooru Moopans) Ramakrishnan, Chinnan, and Cheriyan, along with Tribal Promoter Jayadevan and Tribal Facilitators Bindu, Kannan, Neethu, and Aishwarya, also participated and shared their insights.

This project represents our ongoing dedication to fostering self-reliance and improving the livelihoods of tribal communities through structured agricultural support.
